Sodium Dodecyl Benzene Sulfonate (SDBS /LAS)
Basic Information：
White or pale yellow powder/granules; in liquid form, it appears as a transparent viscous liquid or milky white paste. It delivers strong detergency and performs well against particulate soils, oil grease soils and protein soils, with detergency improving at higher temperatures. It produces abundant, fast forming foam yet exhibits average foam stability. It has poor hard water tolerance; precipitates will form in the presence of calcium and magnesium ions, reducing detergency. Chelating agents such as EDTA or sodium citrate should be added in formulations. It features high degreasing power and relatively high skin irritation。
